Japanese SwordDo not bid unless you have positive feedback and a u. S. Mailing address. This particular japanese sword in wwii mounts is very light, sharp, and well made.
It has some pitting and surface rust, but it is extremely healthy and should polish by a japanese polisher nicely. I had the intentions of sending it to a professional polisher, but cannot afford to.
The (silver) habaki is tight adn fancy. The seppas and pierced tsuba are tight and numbered, and original to the sword. The tsuka feels slightly loose and not original to this great blade. The blaed itself is approximatley 25 inches long, and just under 1 inch wide.
You have to hodl this blade to feel how well made and balanced it is. I hope you give it the home it deserves. This as all of my knives and collectables are guaratneed original. I do not clean, polish, or alter them. Purchaser must be 18 years or older and abide by all applicable federal and local laws.
