Ca1872 French Bayonet Wscabbard Signed MarkedCa1872 french bayonet w/scabbard signed & marked you are bidding on this ca1872 fench bayonet, w/scabbard, that was purchased from a estate sale along with some other ietms (see other auctions at the bottom of page- click on smaller pictures to enlarge them). The bayonet is signed & dated on the spine (see ipctures for close-ups) and is numbered, with inspectors marks throughout it. The blade, of the bayonet, is approx. 22 1/2 long while the bayonet is 27 1/2 long and the bayonet & scabbard are 28 1/4 long. The blade has some surface wear and a couple small knicks on the blade.
